Flutter & Hiss was an idea born out of What Lab wanting to support musicians and sound artists during the pandemic. As a performance studio we couldn't do the one thing we did best - provide a space to gather. So instead we became a space to create.

Invited artists were given a two-day residency in our studio space. Day one was about creation, and day two we recorded the work being played as studio session recordings. This tape is the result of that work.
